Hocking Hills’ variety of unique lodging options continues to expand as the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls recently opened spacious, fully loaded, luxurious lodges that can accommodate dozens of guests. They are a quick getaway drive up the road—just two and a half hours north of Cincy.

The lodges sleep eight to 24 guests and are perfect for larger groups. Each offers beautiful views, a cozy atmosphere, and true privacy along with access to the inn’s full-service dining, tavern, and spa. Flat-screen TVs, signature sheets, quality bathroom linens, and spa-style soaps and shampoos are just a few of the amenities.

Accommodations that will certainly take your Hocking Hills experience to ‘the next level’ include massive hot tubs, outdoor fire pits, multi-tiered wrap-around decks, gourmet kitchens, entertainment rooms, and more. They’re particularly well suited for families, retreats, weddings, friend trips or a couple’s getaway.

The Inn itself was first opened 32 years ago by Anne Castle. Her daughter Ellen and son-in-law Terry Lingo took over after her death in 1991 and built out the property. They added a spa, a restaurant and tavern, and an array of lodging options such as cottages, cabins and yurts. The relaxing atmosphere is furthered by tastefully landscaped grounds with hammocks and a fire pit, a rooftop garden, and a therapeutic spa. Nestled within the Hocking Hills, guests have quick and easy access to dozens of waterfalls, scenic views, and miles of trails for hiking, riding, and bird watching.

Executive Chef, Matt Rapposelli, prepares meals using local produce and ingredients whenever possible. The restaurant on the site is called Kindred Spirits and was crafted from several log cabins built in the 1800s. Zac and Lauren Loomis purchased the property in 2019 and continue to offer visitors, “an unprecedented opportunity to turn off their cell phones and laptops and reboot their spirit.”

Guests booking their first reservation in the lodges can receive free perks like continental breakfast delivered to their door on the first morning of their stay, a fire starter kit, and a s’mores package.

After all, sitting out under the stars on a wrap-around deck with a crackling fire pit, a drink nearby, and a fresh, hot s’mores in hand is perhaps the very definition of rustic luxury.
